Linen

Linen is one of the most popular natural materials for clothing of all kinds. From its unique texture to its comfortable feel in hot weather and its natural appearance, linen is considered a classic summer fabric. Made from the flax plant, linen possesses many other positive qualities:

• Unlike cotton, flax fibers are composed of small bundles, making the fabric more durable and robust.
• Linen has a cooling effect and is particularly comfortable to wear in the summer.
• Due to its ecological, skin-friendly, and naturally hygienic properties, flax fiber is also ideal for allergy sufferers.
• Linen is lint-free.
• Almost all parts of the flax plant are used during harvesting. It is a renewable resource that requires very little irrigation in cultivation. Since linen is made of 100% natural fibers, it is also biodegradable and therefore highly sustainable.
